FAQ
What is the RHCSA certification?

The Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA, EX200 exam) validates operational administration skills on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. At MFE-IT it is delivered in a small group and tailored to your context.

What is the difference between RHCSA and RHCE?

RHCSA covers core administration. RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer, EX294) goes further with Ansible: automation, playbooks, roles and configuration management.

What are the prerequisites to sit the RHCSA?

Prior hands-on Linux command-line practice is required (equivalent to RH124/RH134). MFE-IT can arrange a complete path from getting started to certification.

Does the course cover storage management (LVM), systemd services, users and SELinux?

Yes. The RHCSA preparation covers the administration tasks assessed: file and permission management, users and groups, storage and LVM, systemd and services, networking, package management, task scheduling, containers and security (SELinux, firewall).

Is the RHCSA exam a practical (task-based) exam?

Yes. The RHCSA (EX200) is a 100% practical exam: you perform real administration tasks on a RHEL system. The course prepares you through numerous labs under near-exam conditions.

How long is the RHCSA training at MFE-IT?

The training lasts 5 days (35 hours), delivered remotely. An intensive, lab-focused format designed to pass the EX200 exam.
