Format

Remote (recorded sessions).

GOOD TO KNOW

This training course includes numerous exercises (60% practical) to enhance learning. Even if you are the only one registered, the session will still take place (except in cases of force majeure). A preliminary interview is held between the participant and/or a company representative in order to fully assess the participant’s profile (level, needs, professional context, challenges, etc.).
Assessment : during the training course, the trainer assesses the participants’ progress through multiple-choice questions, role-playing exercises and practical work. Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the training course.

objectives of this SCCM Training Course

By the end, each participant will be able to :

  • Understand SCCM architecture and its components (site, database, management point, distribution)
  • Deploy and configure the SCCM environment
  • Create collections, manage applications, packages and Windows updates
  • Automate OS deployment (task sequences, PXE boot, WDS)
  • Perform hardware/software inventories
  • Manage compliance, security, and user rights

Prerequisites

  • Solid knowledge of Windows Server administration and Active Directory environments.
  • Basic understanding of networking, DNS, and Windows security.
  • Experience in IT asset management recommended.
  • Because each participant has a unique background and expectations, a preliminary interview with our expert allows us to precisely identify their objectives, level and professional challenges.
This enables us to tailor the training content to ensure relevant and personalised learning.

Target Audience

Recommended for system administrators, infrastructure managers, or IT service providers who wish to professionalise the management of their Windows environments.

FAQ – SCCM (Configuration Manager) Training

SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), now branded Microsoft Configuration Manager / Microsoft Intune, is Microsoft’s on-premises endpoint management tool. It is used for OS deployment, software distribution, patch management, hardware and software inventory, and compliance settings across large fleets of Windows devices. MFE-IT trains IT administrators on installing, configuring, and operating Configuration Manager in enterprise environments.

Yes, SCCM (Microsoft Configuration Manager) is still widely used in 2026, especially in large enterprises with complex on-premises Windows fleets. Microsoft has integrated it with Intune through co-management, so most organizations now run a hybrid Configuration Manager + Intune model rather than fully replacing one with the other. The MFE-IT SCCM training covers both standalone and co-managed scenarios.

Co-management lets a single Windows device be managed by both Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune simultaneously, with administrators choosing which workloads (compliance, device configuration, Endpoint Protection, app deployment) are handled by each platform. This enables progressive cloud migration without losing on-premises capabilities. Through MFE-IT’s hands-on approach, learners configure co-management on real devices during the training.

Deploying software with SCCM follows a workflow: create or import an application package, define detection methods and requirements, distribute content to distribution points, then deploy as required (forced) or available (Software Center) to a device or user collection. Reporting tracks success rates and failures. Our MFE-IT training course on SCCM covers the full application lifecycle including modern application model and Win32 packaging.
