Microsoft Intune Training Course

Description of the Microsoft Intune Mobile Management Training Course

Mobile device management has become a strategic challenge for organisations of all sizes. This training course provides you with a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of Microsoft Intune for managing Android and iOS devices in an enterprise environment. You will learn to configure enrolment policies, enforce compliance, deploy applications, and integrate Apple Business Manager and Samsung Knox — covering the full MDM/MAM lifecycle from onboarding to troubleshooting.

Format

Remote (recorded sessions available on request). This training course can also be delivered on-site or customised for a private group. Contact us for more information.

GOOD TO KNOW

This training course is highly practical (60% hands-on). All workshops are performed on a real Intune tenant with Android and iOS devices. Participants configure enrolment profiles, compliance policies and application deployments from scratch. No physical device is required — virtual environments and simulators are used throughout. A level assessment interview with our expert ensures the content is perfectly matched to each participant’s background and goals.

Objectives of the Microsoft Intune Mobile Management Training Course

By the end of this training course, each participant will be able to:

  • Understand the key challenges of enterprise mobility management and the principles behind EMM/UEM solutions
  • Master the Microsoft Intune architecture and its integration with Microsoft Entra ID and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Configure and administer mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) policies
  • Deploy and manage Android and Apple device enrolment using the available registration methods
  • Implement compliance and security policies to protect corporate data and mobile endpoints
  • Administer Android Enterprise and Samsung Knox environments, including automatic enrolment and firmware update management
  • Integrate Apple Business Manager with Microsoft Intune to automate iOS and iPadOS device enrolment

FAQ – Intune Mobile Device Management Training

Microsoft Intune is the cloud-based unified endpoint management (UEM) and mobile device management (MDM) service in Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Entra. It manages and secures Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android, and Linux devices through configuration policies, compliance rules, app deployment, and conditional access integration. MFE-IT trains IT administrators on managing the full mobile fleet through Intune for Android and iOS.

Enrolling an iOS device in Intune typically uses Apple Business Manager (ABM) for company-owned devices (Automated Device Enrollment) or the Company Portal app for BYOD scenarios. You configure an Apple MDM push certificate, then assign profiles, apps, and compliance policies. Through MFE-IT’s hands-on approach, learners enroll real iOS devices and apply policies during the training.

Yes, Intune fully manages Android devices through Android Enterprise modes: fully managed (corporate), dedicated (kiosk), and work profile (BYOD). Each mode provides different control and privacy boundaries. Google Mobile Services and Samsung Knox add deeper management capabilities. The MFE-IT Intune Mobile Device Management training covers each Android Enterprise mode with concrete deployment scenarios.

Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD) handles identity and access — who you are and what you can access. Intune handles device management — what device you’re using, whether it’s compliant, and what apps and policies it has. They work together in conditional access: Entra checks identity, Intune checks device posture. Our MFE-IT training course on Intune covers this integration end to end for real BYOD and corporate scenarios.
