LPIC-2 (Linux Professional Institute Certification level 2) is a recognised international certification that validates the skills of an experienced Linux administrator. At MFE-IT it is delivered in a small group and tailored to your context.
LPIC-1 validates the basics of Linux administration: file, user and process management, basic networking and simple scripts. LPIC-2 goes further with advanced services, kernel, storage and security.
LPIC-2 opens up roles as senior Linux systems administrator, infrastructure engineer, junior/experienced DevOps, SRE or cloud administrator (AWS, Azure).

The programme covers kernel compilation and management, advanced storage (LVM, software RAID), firewalling (iptables/nftables) and VPNs, and network services: DNS with BIND, web with Apache and Nginx, Samba/NFS file sharing, Postfix/Dovecot email and LDAP directory — all the domains of the LPI 201 and 202 exams.
LPIC-2 validates advanced Linux administration in a distribution-neutral way and covers a broad range of network services and security. RHCE is Red Hat-specific and focused on automation with Ansible. Note: LPIC-2 requires holding the LPIC-1 certification.
The MFE-IT training lasts 5 days (35 hours), fully tailored, with a maximum of 3 participants per session. It covers the objectives of the 201 and 202 exams.
