Description of the training: Cloud Networking Training Course – Design and Secure Azure, AWS and GCP Architectures
About the Cloud Networking Training Course

This Cloud Networking training course prepares IT professionals to design and secure network architectures across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform. You will learn to create and manage virtual networks, configure routing and hybrid connectivity, implement security controls and compare multi-cloud networking approaches. The programme covers VNet/VPC design, subnet management, VPN gateways, network peering, load balancers, firewalls and cloud network monitoring. By the end, you will be able to architect reliable and secure multi-cloud network solutions. Hands-on labs and real-world multi-cloud scenarios are at the core of this training. Also discover our Azure Secure Networking AZ-1002 training, our CCNA Cisco 200-301 training and our Routing and Firewalling training.

Good to know
Good to know

This course includes numerous exercises (60% hands-on practice) for better learning. Sessions are guaranteed from a single registrant (except in cases of force majeure). A preliminary interview takes place between the participant and/or a company representative in order to fully take into account the participant’s profile (level, needs, professional context, challenges, etc.).

Assessment: during the training, the trainer assesses participants’ learning progress through quizzes, role-play and hands-on exercises. Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

This course is part of our Computer Network Training Courses catalogue. Explore our other networking trainings to design, configure and operate reliable network infrastructures.

Objectives of the training: Cloud Networking Training Course – Design and Secure Azure, AWS and GCP Architectures
Objectives of the Cloud Networking Training Course

By the end of the course, the participant will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of cloud networking and the differences between Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform
  • Design high-performance, secure and scalable multi-cloud network architectures
  • Master the creation and management of virtual networks (VNet, AWS VPC, GCP VPC) and their subnets
  • Configure routing, hybrid and inter-cloud connectivity (VPN, peering, gateways)
  • Implement network security mechanisms (firewalls, security groups, NACLs, ingress/egress rules)
  • Compare and choose the best network approach depending on the cloud provider and use case
Prerequisites of the training: Cloud Networking Training Course – Design and Secure Azure, AWS and GCP Architectures
Prerequisites
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks (IP addressing, routing, NAT)
  • General notions of cloud computing
  • Some initial experience with at least one cloud provider is recommended

Because every participant is unique, a personalised interview with our expert allows us to design a course perfectly aligned with their objectives, level and professional challenges.

FAQ
What is a cloud network?

A cloud network is the set of virtualised network services provided by the cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP): VPC/VNet, subnets, gateways, site-to-site VPN, peering, load balancers, managed firewalls. It securely interconnects workloads, users and on-premise systems.

What are the differences between Azure VNet, AWS VPC and GCP VPC?

VNet (Azure), VPC (AWS) and VPC (GCP) are the logical equivalents: isolated private networks. The differences concern regional scoping (GCP is global, AWS and Azure are regional), the routing model, peering and native integration with the other services. Our MFE-IT course compares the three platforms in concrete terms.

How do you secure a hybrid cloud network?

Securing it relies on: subnet segmentation, NSGs/Security Groups, a managed firewall (Azure Firewall, AWS Network Firewall), VPN or ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, DDoS Protection, Private Endpoints and centralised logging. The MFE-IT course details an end-to-end secure hybrid architecture.

How long does it take to master multi-provider cloud networking?

Our Cloud Networking course runs over 3 days (21 hours) in a fully tailored format. This volume is needed to cover Azure, AWS and GCP with hands-on labs and realistic multi-cloud scenarios.
