Fundamentals: andragogy and the « Mirror before the Map » principle
  • Adult motivation, Gordon’s competence ladder and the founding principle « The Mirror before the Map »: create awareness before delivering any content.
Step 1 – The Mirror: revealing uncertainty zones
  • Design a three-zone structured self-assessment, placed before any content, to challenge the expert learner’s certainty and reveal their real uncertainty zones.
Step 2 – The Case: grounding in reality
  • Build a narrative situation grounded in the day-to-day of the role, immediately recognisable by the learner.
Steps 3 & 4 – The Map and The Feedback
Step 5 – The Transfer and governance
  • Explicitly project the learner into their real practice (The Transfer). Set up super users and the voice of the users to guarantee field credibility.
The highlights of this training course
  • This course: you design a real pilot module end to end and leave with a reproducible matrix (templates, design guide, review grid) and success indicators beyond quizzes.
