FAQ
What is Microsoft Copilot for Security?

Copilot for Security is Microsoft’s AI assistant dedicated to cybersecurity teams: incident investigation, alert enrichment, searches across Sentinel/Defender, SOC report generation and more. At MFE-IT it is delivered in a small group and tailored to your context.

What is the difference with Microsoft 365 Copilot?

M365 Copilot is productivity-oriented (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). Copilot for Security is a distinct product specialised in cybersecurity, with Sentinel, Defender, Intune and Entra plug-ins and dedicated promptbooks.

Who is this training for?

SOC analysts, security engineers, CISOs, incident response leads and Microsoft security architects. Prior hands-on experience with Sentinel / Defender is recommended to get the most out of the day.

Does the course cover integrating Copilot for Security with Defender XDR, Purview and Entra?

Yes. The programme covers generative AI fundamentals, the key features of Microsoft Copilot for Security and its embedded experiences with Microsoft Defender XDR, Purview and Entra, with use cases and hands-on practice.
