FAQ
What is Google Workspace?

Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) is Google’s cloud collaborative suite, bringing together Gmail, Drive, Docs/Sheets/Slides, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Spaces, Forms and Sites. Administration is done via the Google Admin Console (admin.google.com). The MFE-IT course trains administrators to configure, secure and govern their Google Workspace tenant in 2 days (12h).

What is the difference between Google Workspace and Microsoft 365?

Both offer a cloud collaborative suite (email, storage, office tools, video conferencing). Google Workspace is natively web-based and real-time (multi-user Docs, built-in Meet, high-performance Gmail). Microsoft 365 remains more powerful for heavy office work (advanced Excel, PowerPoint), the Windows/AD ecosystem and enterprise integrations. MFE-IT trains on both and supports migrations in both directions.

How do you secure a Google Workspace tenant?

The pillars of Google Workspace security: strong authentication (mandatory 2-Step Verification, security keys), Context-Aware Access, DLP policies on Drive/Gmail, Vault for retention and eDiscovery, Alert Center for incident detection, external sharing and third-party OAuth application management. The MFE-IT course covers these aspects and GDPR best practices.

How long does the Google Workspace Administration training course last?

The MFE-IT course lasts 2 days (12 hours), in a 100% bespoke format with a maximum of 3 participants per session. It covers: Google Workspace architecture, user/group/organisational unit management, service management, security (2SV, Context-Aware Access, DLP), audit/Vault, mobile (endpoint management) and migration from Microsoft 365. 30 days of post-course support.

Is this Google Workspace Administration training course eligible for CPF or OPCO funding?

No. MFE-IT does not directly handle CPF or OPCO applications and our organisation is not Qualiopi-certified. This training course is therefore aimed solely at companies that fund it directly.

This is a deliberate choice: we have prioritised teaching agility and investment in genuine quality over administrative compliance.

In return, you benefit from a fully bespoke format: preliminary interview, content tailored to your business context, sessions guaranteed from a single registration (except in cases of force majeure), a maximum of 3 participants per session and 30 days of post-training support by email.
