Description of the training: AZ-802 Certification Training Course – Windows Server Hybrid Administrator (exam included)
The AZ-802 – Windows Server Hybrid Administrator training prepares administrators to design, secure and operate hybrid Windows Server environments integrated with Microsoft Azure. This new Microsoft exam combines the scope of the former AZ-800 and AZ-801 into a single certification: Active Directory identity, hybrid services, high availability, disaster recovery, workload migration, monitoring and troubleshooting. The training alternates theory with hands-on labs on Windows Admin Center, PowerShell, Azure Arc, Azure Policy and Azure Monitor, to make you operational on both on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

This training includes a large amount of hands-on practice (60% practice) for better learning. Sessions are guaranteed from a single registrant (except in cases of force majeure) and run in a small group of 1 to 3 participants.
A preliminary interview takes place between the participant and/or a company representative in order to properly take into account the participant’s profile (level, needs, professional context, challenges, etc.).
Assessment: during the training, the trainer evaluates the participants’ learning progress through quizzes, role-playing scenarios and practical exercises. Participants receive a certificate of acquired skills at the end of the training. The price includes the Microsoft AZ-802 certification exam.

Solid experience administering Windows Server (several years recommended). Knowledge of networking, storage and Active Directory concepts. Familiarity with Azure basics (an AZ-900 background is a plus, not mandatory).

- Designing a disaster recovery strategy. Implementing Azure Site Recovery. Protecting virtual machines and workloads. Hybrid backup and restore with Azure Backup.
Migrating servers and workloads
- Planning a migration of servers and workloads. Migrating to Azure IaaS with Azure Migrate. Migrating files and shares with Storage Migration Service. Migrating Active Directory and server roles.
Monitoring and troubleshooting
- Monitoring Windows Server environments with Azure Monitor and Azure Arc. Collecting and analysing logs. Troubleshooting performance, hybrid connectivity and replication issues. Patching with Azure Update Manager.
Advanced hybrid scenarios
- Advanced hybrid scenarios: full on-premises / Azure integration, centralised management via Azure Arc, PowerShell automation. Operational and governance best practices.
