Description of the training: AWS SysOps Administrator Training Course: AWS cloud administration
About the AWS SysOps Administrator Training Course

This AWS SysOps Administrator training is dedicated to systems administrators and operations engineers who manage AWS environments on a daily basis. It covers the operational skills needed to deploy, manage, monitor and secure workloads on Amazon Web Services.

Over these three days, you will master the tools for monitoring and managing AWS resources: Amazon CloudWatch for monitoring, AWS Systems Manager for automating administration tasks, and AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code deployment.

The programme goes deeper into high-availability management, deployment automation, network troubleshooting and security compliance. You will learn to configure backup strategies, manage patch updates and optimise the performance and costs of your infrastructure. You may also be interested in our AWS FinOps – AWS Cloud Financial Management Training Course, our AWS Essential Services – S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS and EKS Training Course, our AWS Cloud Practitioner Training Course and our AWS Solutions Architect Training Course.

To broaden your operations skills: our AWS DevOps Engineer Training Course automates deployment and reliability, our AWS Security Training Course covers hardening, and our AWS EKS Training Course the operation of Kubernetes on AWS.

FAQ
What is the AWS SysOps Administrator certification?

AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate (SOA-C02) validates the ability to deploy, manage and operate workloads on AWS: monitoring, automation, high availability and security. At MFE-IT it is delivered in a small group and tailored to your context.

What is the difference between SysOps, Solutions Architect and Developer Associate?

Solutions Architect designs the architectures, Developer codes the AWS applications, SysOps operates them day to day: deployment, monitoring, incidents and security.

What are the prerequisites for SysOps Administrator?

Hands-on systems-administration experience (Linux/Windows) and initial AWS practice (Cloud Practitioner level or equivalent) are strongly recommended.

Does the course cover deployment, monitoring (CloudWatch), security and automation on AWS?

Yes. The AWS SysOps Administrator preparation covers operations on AWS: deployment and resource management, monitoring and logging (CloudWatch), high availability, security and compliance, networking, cost management and automation (CloudFormation, Systems Manager).

What is the difference between AWS SysOps Administrator and Solutions Architect?

The SysOps Administrator focuses on day-to-day operations and administration (deployment, monitoring, incidents). The Solutions Architect focuses on designing architectures. Both are Associate-level and complementary.

How long is the AWS SysOps training at MFE-IT?

The training lasts 3 days (21 hours), delivered remotely. An intensive format with labs on a demo AWS account.
