Description of the training: AWS Solutions Architect Training Course: Design scalable cloud architectures
About the AWS Solutions Architect Training Course

This AWS Solutions Architect training prepares you to design scalable, resilient and highly available cloud architectures on Amazon Web Services. Aimed at cloud architects and engineers, it covers common architecture patterns and best practices for deploying applications on AWS.

Over three days, you will learn to size and select the AWS services suited to each business need: compute with EC2 and Lambda, storage with S3 and EBS, databases with RDS and DynamoDB, networking with VPC and Route 53. You will master high-availability, load-balancing and auto-scaling mechanisms.

The programme goes deeper into architectural security with IAM, security groups, encryption and Well-Architected Framework best practices. You will also discover serverless architectures, CI/CD pipelines and cloud migration strategies. Packed with hands-on labs in the AWS console, this training prepares you for the SAA-C03 certification. You may also be interested in our AWS Generative AI Application Development with Amazon Bedrock Training Course, our AWS FinOps – AWS Cloud Financial Management Training Course and our AWS Essential Services – S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS and EKS Training Course.

To go beyond the Associate certification: our AWS Advanced Architecture Training Course (SAP-C02) covers multi-account environments and hybrid connectivity, our AWS Security Training Course the hardening, our AWS EKS Training Course containerised architectures, and our AWS Migration Training Course migration strategies.

Sessions are guaranteed from a single registrant (except in cases of force majeure). A preliminary discussion takes place between the participant and/or a company representative to fully take into account the participant’s profile. Assessment: quizzes, role-play and practical exercises. A certificate of completion is issued at the end of the training. This training prepares you for the AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03) certification (exam not included). This training is part of our Cloud Computing Training Courses catalogue. Discover our other cloud training courses to master architectures, services and best practices on AWS, Azure and GCP. To get started on AWS, we recommend our AWS Cloud Practitioner Training Course as a prerequisite, which lays the foundations of the Amazon Cloud.

Objectives of the training: AWS Solutions Architect Training Course: Design scalable cloud architectures
Learning objectives of the AWS Solutions Architect Training Course

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Design resilient, scalable and highly available cloud architectures on AWS using the right services for each need
  • Select and size compute (EC2, Lambda, ECS), storage (S3, EBS, EFS) and database (RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora) services
  • Configure secure cloud networks with Amazon VPC, subnets, gateways and security groups
  • Implement high-availability strategies with Elastic Load Balancing, Auto Scaling and multi-AZ architectures
  • Apply security best practices: IAM, encryption, AWS CloudTrail and the Well-Architected Framework
  • Prepare effectively to sit the AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification
Prerequisites of the training: AWS Solutions Architect Training Course: Design scalable cloud architectures
Prerequisites for the AWS Solutions Architect Training Course

Hands-on experience with AWS services and an understanding of cloud computing fundamentals are recommended. The AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or equivalent knowledge is an asset. Networking notions (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and distributed systems will make the advanced modules easier. Because every participant is unique, a personalised discussion with our expert lets us design a training course perfectly aligned with their objectives.

FAQ
What is the AWS Solutions Architect certification?

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03) is one of the most popular AWS certifications. It validates the ability to design resilient, secure and cost-effective architectures on AWS. At MFE-IT it is delivered in a small group and tailored to your context.

What is the difference between Solutions Architect Associate and Professional?

The Associate covers standard multi-AZ architectures, VPC, storage, managed databases, IAM and so on. The Professional targets very complex, multi-account and hybrid architectures with advanced governance.

What are the prerequisites for this training?

A Cloud Practitioner level (or equivalent) and initial hands-on AWS experience are recommended. MFE-IT adapts the pace, with an express recap of the fundamentals if needed.

Does the course cover designing resilient, high-performing, secure and cost-optimised architectures?

Yes. The AWS Solutions Architect Associate preparation covers architecture design: high availability and resilience, performance, security (IAM, encryption), networking (VPC), storage and databases, and cost optimisation, following the Well-Architected Framework.

What is the difference between AWS Solutions Architect and SysOps Administrator?

The Solutions Architect designs architectures (service choices, resilience, cost); the SysOps Administrator operates them day to day (deployment, monitoring, incidents). Both are Associate-level.

How long is the AWS Solutions Architect training at MFE-IT?

The training lasts 3 days (21 hours), delivered remotely. An intensive format with architecture design workshops and exam simulations.
