FAQ
What is non-destructive editing in Photoshop?

Non-destructive editing means modifying an image without altering the original pixels, so you can go back at any time. It relies on adjustment layers, layer masks, smart objects and smart filters. It is a core way of working that the training teaches you to adopt from the very start.

What is the difference between an adjustment layer and a smart filter?

An adjustment layer applies a correction (levels, curves, hue/saturation…) to all the layers below it, without changing them permanently. A smart filter applies a filter (blur, sharpen, Camera Raw…) to a smart object while remaining adjustable and reversible. Both support non-destructive editing, but one acts on overall colour, the other on a specific layer.

What does Photoshop 2026's generative fill (AI) bring?

The generative fill in the latest version of Photoshop (2026) generates or replaces areas of an image from a simple description, now with higher resolution and the ability to guide the result with a reference image. It speeds up cut-outs, scene extension and object removal. The training shows you how to use it professionally and under control.

Who is this training for?

Graphic designers, photographers, community managers, communication officers and anyone wishing to retouch and compose their images with Photoshop.

What are the prerequisites?

Be comfortable with the computing environment. Experience with images is a plus, but not required.

How long is the training?

The training lasts 3 days, i.e. 21 hours, on-site at your premises or remotely.

Is the training hands-on?

Yes: around 60% of the time is devoted to guided exercises, in a small group of 1 to 3 participants, with an expert trainer.
