FAQ
What is a vector path and why is it resizable?

A vector path is defined by anchor points and mathematical curves (Bézier curves), not by a grid of pixels. It can therefore be enlarged or reduced without ever losing sharpness, unlike a raster image. This is what makes Illustrator ideal for logos, pictograms and illustrations used at any size.

What is the difference between Illustrator and Photoshop?

Illustrator works with vectors (infinitely resizable paths) and is used to create logos, illustrations and graphic elements that stay sharp at any scale. Photoshop works with bitmaps (pixels) and is used for photo retouching and photomontage. The two are complementary: you often create a visual in Illustrator and integrate it into an image in Photoshop.

What's new in Illustrator 2026?

The latest version of Illustrator (2026) enhances its AI-assisted tools — vector generation and recolouring, retype and mockups — as well as font, colour and artboard management. The training is based on this current version to make you self-sufficient with today's professional workflows.

Who is this training for?

Graphic designers, communication officers, freelancers and anyone wishing to create vector visuals (logos, icons, illustrations).

What are the prerequisites?

Be comfortable with the computing environment. No prior knowledge of Illustrator is required.

How long is the training?

The training lasts 3 days, i.e. 21 hours, on-site at your premises or remotely.

Is the training hands-on?

Yes: around 60% of the time is devoted to guided exercises, in a small group of 1 to 3 participants, with an expert trainer.

Can the training be personalised?

Yes, the content, pace and dates are tailored to your project. A preliminary discussion allows us to adjust the training to your level.
