SharePoint External Collaboration Training – Migrating to Entra ID B2B

This training course prepares you to anticipate the removal of one-time passcodes (OTP) planned by Microsoft in July 2026 and to secure your external collaborators’ access to SharePoint for the long term. You will discover how to audit all your current guest accounts, identify sensitive sharing flows and implement a controlled transition to Entra ID B2B. The programme combines theoretical input with concrete scenarios: auditing existing access, configuring security policies, deploying multi-factor authentication for guests and managing the lifecycle of external accounts. By the end of the training the participant will be able to:

• Understand the issues linked to Microsoft’s abandonment of one-time passcodes (OTP) in July 2026 and gauge the consequences for external sharing.
• Carry out a full audit of the guest accounts in place and map critical collaboration flows (partners, providers, subcontractors).
• Use Entra ID B2B to create, administer and secure external identities within the Microsoft 365 tenant.
