Prerequisites

This path is aimed at development or operations professionals. The recommended prerequisites are:

  • Practice of software development in at least one language (JavaScript, Python, C#, Java…)
  • Basic notions of Git (clone, commit, push) — not mandatory as module 1 covers the fundamentals
  • Azure basics appreciated (Azure account, simple deployment) — without being a blocker
  • No specific DevOps prerequisite: the path starts from the fundamentals and progressively builds up

Is security integrated into the pipelines (DevSecOps)?

Yes. A dedicated module (AZ-2001) builds security in from the build stage: dependency scanning (SCA), dynamic testing (DAST), secrets management and quality/security gates in the pipelines.

The path lasts 4 days (27 hours, based on 6-7h/day), spread over 3 to 5 weeks depending on your schedule. The spacing lands you put each module into practice on your own projects between sessions and build up your learning progressively.

What are the prerequisites for this path?

The recommended prerequisites are regular software development practice in at least one language (JavaScript, Python, C#, Java…). Basic notions of Git are appreciated but not mandatory as module 1 covers the fundamentals. Some Azure basics (Azure account, simple deployment) make getting started easier. No specific DevOps prerequisite is required: the path starts from the fundamentals and progressively builds up.
