Kubernetes Training Course

Description of the Kubernetes Training Course

Kubernetes has become the go-to solution for container orchestration in modern environments. It allows you to deploy, scale, and manage your applications automatically, in a resilient and decentralised manner.

This training course offers a comprehensive overview (GL360) of Kubernetes, ranging from fundamental concepts to advanced cluster management.
You will learn how to orchestrate your services, manage configurations, monitor cluster status, automate deployments, and secure your workloads.

Also discover our Advanced Kubernetes and CI/CD Training Course, our CI/CD DevOps Training Course, our Terraform Training Course, our Docker to Kubernetes Training Course, our Kubernetes Training Course – From Code to Cluster in Complete Autonomy and our Spring Microservices and Kubernetes Training Course.

Format

Remote (recorded sessions).

GOOD TO KNOW

This training course includes numerous exercises (60% practical) to enhance learning. Each session will take place even if only one person is registered (except in cases of force majeure). A preliminary interview is held between the participant and/or a company representative in order to fully assess the participant’s profile (level, needs, professional context, challenges, etc.).
Assessment : during the training course, the trainer assesses the participants’ progress through multiple-choice questions, role-playing exercises and practical work. Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the training course.

Objectives of this Kubernetes Training Course

By the end, each participant will be able to :

  • Understand the architecture and key components of Kubernetes (pods, nodes, services, etc.)
  • Deploy containerised applications in a cluster
  • Manage configurations, secrets, volumes and resources
  • Implement scaling, restart and high availability strategies
  • Orchestrate automated deployments and rollbacks
  • Secure and monitor your cluster with integrated tools (RBAC, monitoring, etc.)

Prerequisites

  • Good knowledge of Linux command line
  • Proficiency in Docker and containerisation concepts
  • Basic understanding of networks, microservices, and application deployments
  • Because each participant has a unique background and expectations, a preliminary interview with our expert allows us to precisely identify their objectives, level and professional challenges.
This enables us to tailor the training content to ensure relevant and personalised learning.

Target Audience

Ideal for developers, administrators, DevOps engineers, and architects who want to industrialise their container management with Kubernetes.

FAQ – Kubernetes Training

Kubernetes (K8s) is the open-source container orchestration platform. It runs, scales, and monitors containerized applications on a server cluster, managing high availability, load balancing, storage, and updates. MFE-IT trains Ops and DevOps teams to deploy and administer Kubernetes.

The main objects are the pod (deployment unit), the deployment (manages replicas and updates), the service (exposes a pod), the ingress (incoming HTTP routing), the ConfigMap and Secret (configuration and secrets), and the Persistent Volume (storage). MFE-IT illustrates them with practical, progressive examples.

For learning: minikube, kind, or k3s. For production: AKS (Azure), EKS (AWS), GKE (Google), OpenShift, or a vanilla cluster via kubeadm. The choice depends on the target cloud, the desired level of management, and security constraints. MFE-IT helps you position each option for your context.

The training lasts 4 days, i.e. 28 hours, either remotely or on-site, with a maximum of 3 participants per session and 30 days of post-training support included.
