FAQ
Who is the PL-7008 training for?

This training is aimed at low-code app makers, Power Platform consultants, Microsoft 365 administrators, developers and business owners in charge of deploying Copilot Studio in their organisation to build custom copilots.

What are the prerequisites for this training?

You need to be familiar with data modelling concepts in Microsoft Dataverse and have already used Microsoft Copilot Studio (an initial experience is recommended). No advanced development skills are required: the training stays within the low-code world.

What’s the difference between Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio?

Microsoft 365 Copilot is the AI assistant built into Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.). Copilot Studio is the low-code platform for designing custom copilots (agents) connected to your data and business processes, with automated actions via Power Automate.

Does the course cover agent creation, topics, entities/variables and Dataverse?

Yes. The programme covers getting started with Copilot Studio, managing topics (triggers, conversation paths), using entities and variables, enhancing agents, building an agent with Dataverse for Teams, and security, monitoring and governance.

Does the course cover agent security and governance (DLP, roles, monitoring)?

Yes. A dedicated module covers agent governance: role and permission management, DLP policies and Microsoft Entra ID, usage monitoring and oversight from the Power Platform admin center.

How long is the training?

The training lasts 1 day, i.e. 6 hours, remotely with recorded sessions or on-site at your premises.
