This “CompTIA PenTest+: advanced penetration testing and official exam included” training prepares you to design, plan, execute and analyse complete penetration tests on systems, networks and applications. You will learn to use professional pentesting tools, carry out vulnerability assessments and document your findings with technical and executive reports. The programme also covers legal and compliance frameworks, offensive methodology and the communication of findings. Through hands-on workshops and simulations aligned with the CompTIA PenTest+ exam objectives, you will be ready to obtain a globally recognised certification in offensive cybersecurity. Assessment: during the training, the trainer assesses participants’ learning progress through quizzes, role-plays and practical work. Participants receive a certificate of achievement at the end of the training.

What is the CompTIA PenTest+ certification?
CompTIA PenTest+ (PT0-003) is an internationally recognised certification that validates penetration-testing and vulnerability-assessment skills. It covers engagement planning (scoping, legal), reconnaissance, exploitation, post-exploitation and report writing. MFE-IT offers intensive 5-day / 35h preparation with the exam included.
What is the difference between CompTIA PenTest+ and CEH?
Both certifications cover pentesting, but PenTest+ is more practical and hands-on (performance-based questions, concrete scenarios), whereas CEH (EC-Council) remains more theoretical. PenTest+ is also more accessible in terms of prerequisites and often preferred by recruiters looking for immediately operational skills.
What are the prerequisites for this training?
We recommend prior cybersecurity experience (equivalent to CompTIA Security+), a solid foundation in TCP/IP networks, Linux/Windows administration and familiarity with the command line. Prior knowledge of tools such as Nmap, Metasploit or Burp Suite is a plus, but the training covers everything from the fundamentals to advanced techniques.
How long does it take to prepare for the PenTest+ certification?
The MFE-IT training lasts 5 days (35 hours) in an intensive format, exam included. This pace covers all 5 domains of the PT0-003 exam: planning/scoping, reconnaissance and scanning, attacks/exploits, reporting/communication, tools and code analysis. Maximum 3 participants per session and 30 days of post-training support to maximise the success rate.
