What is the CompTIA CySA+ certification?
CompTIA CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst, CS0-003) is an intermediate defensive cybersecurity certification. It validates SOC analyst skills: threat intelligence, detection, incident response, vulnerability management and investigation, relying on behavioural analysis and SIEM/EDR tools.
What is the difference between CySA+, Security+ and PenTest+?
Security+ is the generalist foundational certification. CySA+ targets defensive security (Blue Team). PenTest+ targets the offensive side (Red Team, pentesting). MFE-IT generally recommends Security+ before CySA+ for a SOC analyst, then PenTest+ to move towards pentesting.
Is the CySA+ exam included in the training?
