Formation Créer un Agent - Formation Automatisation et IA

Description of the Automation and AI Training Course with n8n

This ‘Automation and AI with na8n’ training course teaches you how to design ETL pipelines and automated workflows integrated with AI — data extraction, transformation, loading, plus creation of intelligent agents. You will learn how to automate data processing, API integrations and business processes with flexibility, scalability and total data control. Through practical case studies and a guiding project, you will be able to deploy robust and scalable solutions. By combining automation and AI, you can optimise your efficiency, reduce repetitive tasks and create intelligent processes. Also discover our Creation of Voice AI Agents Training, our Generative AI and LLMs Training and our n8n and AI Training.

Format

Remote (recorded sessions).

GOOD TO KNOW

This training course includes numerous exercises (60% practical) to enhance learning. Even if you are the only one registered, the session will still take place (except in cases of force majeure). A preliminary interview is held between the participant and/or a company representative in order to fully assess the participant’s profile (level, needs, professional context, challenges, etc.).
Assessment : during the training course, the trainer assesses the participants’ progress through multiple-choice questions, role-playing exercises and practical work. Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the training course.

objectives of the Automation and AI Training Course with n8n

By the end, each participant will be able to :

  • Master n8n as an automation and orchestration platform: create ETL workflows, synchronise data, automate processes.
  • Integrate AI models and agents (LLM, embeddings, vector databases) into automated workflows.
  • Set up automated data/document, email or API processing workflows (extraction, transformation, loading), including cleaning and normalisation.
  • Deploy automated and scalable solutions, either self-hosted or in the cloud — while retaining control over your data.
  • Design hybrid workflows combining ETL automation, business logic, external interactions and AI for specific use cases (reporting, monitoring, assistants, data synchronisation).

Prerequisites

  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript or a scripting language, for advanced use cases.
  • Understanding of REST/HTTP APIs, access to databases or external services, understanding of ETL principles.
  • IT environment capable of hosting n8n (self-hosted or cloud), or access to a compatible tenant.
  • Because each participant is unique, a personalised interview with our expert allows us to design a training course that is perfectly aligned with their objectives, level and professional challenges.

Target Audience

  • Developers, data engineers or IT engineers looking to automate processes and orchestrate data flows.
  • Data analysts, BI managers or professionals responsible for data integration and transformation.
  • Digitalisation, ops, and DevOps managers, as well as IT support teams, who wish to outsource repetitive tasks or build automated pipelines.
  • Any organisation wishing to combine automation (ETL/workflows) with AI capabilities (agents, automated processing, RAG, etc.).
Introduction and fundamentals of n8n

Installation/configuration, n8n architecture, visual interface, workflow concepts, triggers/actions, simple first flows.

Connection to APIs, databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.), files (CSV, JSON), cloud storage; data extraction and loading.

Data manipulation, cleaning, mapping and normalisation. Custom scripting in JavaScript or Python within n8n. Quality controls and validation patterns.

Creation of complex workflows — sequences, conditions, loops, automated processing, notifications, integration of external services.

Use of language models (LLMs), embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents to automate content generation, monitoring, and document/email processing.

Building real pipelines combining extraction, transformation, AI, loading — for example, data ingestion, AI enrichment, storage, notifications, reports.

Deployment strategies: self-hosted, Docker, Kubernetes, n8n Cloud. Scalability, queues and worker management. Monitoring, logging and security best practices.

Each participant designs and assists with a complete workflow : ETL, transformation, AI, orchestration, deployment — according to a chosen business case (e.g. monitoring, reporting, document processing, CRM automation, etc.).

FAQ – Automation and AI with n8n Training

n8n is an open-source automation tool that orchestrates workflows across your applications via nodes. Combined with generative AI (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Mistral, local LLMs), it can summarize, classify, extract, generate, and decide in your business processes. At MFE-IT, you build operational n8n + LLM workflows right from the training.

n8n is self-hostable, open source, with predictable costs and direct access to LLM APIs and vector stores. Power Automate is ideal for the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Zapier is aimed at general-purpose SaaS. MFE-IT helps you decide based on data sovereignty, costs, and in-house skills.

Smart email triage, extraction from invoices / PDFs, CRM enrichment via LLM, internal chatbots connected to your data (RAG), content generation, HR/support automations. You leave with 2 to 3 complete and documented workflows, ready to go into production.

The training lasts 3 days (18 hours), either remotely or on-site. An intensive, highly hands-on format, with direct implementation on an n8n instance and LLMs.
