Description of this Advanced Kubernetes and CI/CD Training Course
This advanced Kubernetes training course offers personalised support to help you integrate CI/CD best practices into your ecosystem (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.), deploy intelligently on complex clusters, and secure your production environment.
Mastering containerised orchestration is not just about YAML and pods. It is about the ability to design a robust, secure pipeline tailored to your specific business needs. Also discover our Kubernetes Training Course, our CI/CD DevOps Training Course, our Docker Training Course, our Docker to Kubernetes Training Course, our Spring Microservices and Kubernetes Training Course, our Git Training Course, our Advanced Git Training Course and our GitLab CI/CD Training Course.
Format
Remote (recorded sessions).
GOOD TO KNOW
This training course includes numerous exercises (60% practical) to enhance learning. Each session will take place even if only one person is registered (except in cases of force majeure). A preliminary interview is held between the participant and/or a company representative in order to fully assess the participant’s profile (level, needs, professional context, challenges, etc.).
Assessment : during the training course, the trainer assesses the participants’ progress through multiple-choice questions, role-playing exercises and practical work. Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the training course.
This training course is part of our DevOps Training Courses. Discover our complete DevOps offer to go further in automation, CI/CD and infrastructure industrialisation.
objectives of this Advanced Kubernetes and CI/CD Training Course
By the end, each participant will be able to :
- Deepen your understanding of Kubernetes in complex scenarios : multi-namespaces, secrets, advanced ingress
- Create customised CI/CD pipelines tailored to your tools (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD, etc.)
- Integrate observability, security, and validation tools into the delivery cycle
- Implement GitOps-style orchestration
- Deploy dynamically with Helm, Kustomize, or other templating tools
- Secure your flows (RBAC, network policies, image scanning)
Prerequisites
- Solid experience with Kubernetes in a real-world environment
- Proficiency with YAML files, kubectl, Helm or equivalent
- Good understanding of CI/CD principles and Git pipelines
- Because each participant has a unique background and expectations, a preliminary interview with our expert allows us to precisely identify their objectives, level and professional challenges.
This enables us to tailor the training content to ensure relevant and personalised learning.
Target Audience
Designed for experienced technical teams, this training course can be adapted to your environments and challenges: cloud, on-premise, hybrid.

FAQ – Advanced Kubernetes and CI/CD Training
What is Advanced Kubernetes and CI/CD?
It is the in-depth mastery of Kubernetes beyond the basics: Helm, operators, fine-grained RBAC, network policies, service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki), and GitOps continuous deployment with Argo CD or Flux. MFE-IT trains Ops and DevOps teams to industrialize their Kubernetes platforms.
What is the difference between classic CI/CD and GitOps on Kubernetes?
Classic CI/CD deploys from a pipeline that applies manifests to the cluster. GitOps treats the Git repository as the source of truth: an operator (Argo CD, Flux) synchronizes the cluster with the Git state, detects drift, and offers easy rollback. The MFE-IT training compares the two approaches and their use cases.
Which advanced building blocks make Kubernetes reliable in production?
You combine Helm for packaging, Kubernetes operators to automate the lifecycle of stateful applications, Kyverno/OPA for declarative security, HPA/VPA for auto-scaling, and a service mesh for resilience and observability. MFE-IT shows how to integrate them into a production-ready platform.
How long is the MFE-IT Advanced Kubernetes CI/CD training?
The training lasts 5 days, i.e. 35 hours, either remotely or on-site, with a maximum of 3 participants per session and 30 days of post-training support included.
