FAQ – OneDrive and Teams Training
What are OneDrive and Teams?
OneDrive is Microsoft 365’s personal cloud storage for syncing and sharing your files, while Teams is the team collaboration workspace. Together, they let you co-edit Office documents, share business files, and access them from any device. MFE-IT trains your employees to use them in combination.
What is the difference between OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint?
OneDrive stores your personal files, SharePoint hosts team and site libraries, and Teams surfaces this content in conversation channels. In practice, each Teams channel is backed by a SharePoint site. The MFE-IT training clarifies when to use each tool to avoid duplication and information loss.
How do you share a file securely with OneDrive and Teams?
Sharing is done via an access link (internal, external, specific people), with expiration, password, and read/edit options. Administrators govern sharing from the Microsoft 365 admin center. MFE-IT trains your users in good sharing and classification practices.
How long is the MFE-IT OneDrive and Teams training?
The training lasts 1.5 days, i.e. 9 hours, either remotely or on-site, with a maximum of 3 participants per session and 30 days of post-training support included.
