AWS Cloud Practitioner Training Overview

This AWS Cloud Practitioner training provides a complete introduction to the Amazon Web Services ecosystem. Designed for any professional wishing to understand the fundamentals of the AWS cloud, it covers all the essential concepts: global infrastructure, core services, security, architecture and pricing models.

Over this one-day course, you will learn to identify the advantages of the cloud over traditional solutions, navigate the AWS console and understand how key services work, such as compute (EC2), storage (S3), databases (RDS, DynamoDB) and networking (VPC). You will also explore the built-in security mechanisms and the AWS shared responsibility model.

The programme covers cloud architecture principles based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework, the available support plans and the cost-management tools. Hands-on exercises will let you work directly in the AWS console and consolidate each concept covered.

This training is excellent preparation for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) certification and lays the foundations needed to progress to more advanced paths such as Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator. Also discover our AWS Generative AI Application Development with Amazon Bedrock Training, our AWS FinOps Training – AWS Cloud Financial Management, and our AWS Essential Services Training – S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS and EKS.

Format

Remote (recorded sessions).
The AWS Cloud Practitioner training can also be delivered on your premises and the content tailored to your needs. The programme alternates theory and hands-on practice (around 60%), with exercises carried out directly in the AWS console.

GOOD TO KNOW

Our sessions are guaranteed from a single registrant (except in cases of force majeure).

A preliminary discussion takes place with the participant and/or a company contact to fully take into account the participant’s profile (level, needs, professional context, challenges, etc.).

Assessment: during the training, the trainer assesses participants’ progress through quizzes, scenarios and hands-on exercises. Participants receive a certificate of validated skills at the end of the training.

This training prepares you for the AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) certification (exam not included).

AWS Cloud Practitioner Training Objectives

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Define the AWS cloud and understand its global infrastructure: regions, availability zones and edge locations.
  • Describe the key services of the AWS platform (compute, storage, networking, databases) and their common use cases.
  • Understand the architectural principles of the AWS cloud following the Well-Architected Framework.
  • Master the fundamentals of AWS security and compliance, including the shared responsibility model and identity management (IAM).
  • Identify AWS billing, account management and pricing models.
  • Prepare effectively for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification exam.

Prerequisites for the AWS Cloud Practitioner Training

No technical prerequisites are required to attend this training. General IT awareness and familiarity with basic internet concepts are recommended.

Because every participant is unique, a personalised discussion with our expert lets us design a training course perfectly aligned with their objectives, level and professional challenges.

FAQ – AWS Cloud Practitioner Training

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is the entry-level certification from Amazon Web Services. It validates an overall understanding of the AWS cloud: core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.), pricing models, shared security and best practices. At MFE-IT, this training prepares you effectively for the CLF-C02 exam.

Cloud Practitioner is a general, non-technical certification, ideal for all profiles. Solutions Architect Associate is far more technical and focused on designing cloud architectures. MFE-IT offers a coherent path: CLF-C02 to get started, then SAA-C03 / SysOps / Developer depending on your role.

No, there are no mandatory prerequisites. General IT awareness is useful, but the MFE-IT training is designed for decision-makers, sales profiles, project managers, consultants and newcomers to the AWS cloud.

The training lasts 1 day (7 hours), remote or on-site. A condensed format focused on understanding and preparing for the CLF-C02 exam.
